North American International Auto Show Detroit 2009 (NAIAS) - TESLA

After a few years of speculation, a closure of the local offices, talk of investments and non investments, Jay Leno buying one, law suits, Tesla finally, finally brought their roadster to Detroit.



For over $100k, it doesn't seem much, but it apparently drive like a silent dream monster

Below is the stripped down Roadster. Funny how the Lotus sign is in the background - the Tesla Roadster uses the Lotus Elise as a base for quite a bit of the chassis and frame technology.



Still no sign of the 'Canadian girlfriend' sedan they are reportedly developing...
